Somalia’s Ambassador at the UN Mr Abukar Osman is criticising the UN Mission in Somalia, argues mandate of UN Mission in Somalia UNSOM is not corresponding with efforts of federal government and their success, while reporting every small incidents in details.
Mr Osman argues that Somalia’s sovereignty should not be on stake while being supported by UN and it’s elections should not been interfered by foreign powers.
He also suggested that Secretary General’s quarterly reports should contain less narrative, less details; proposes reassessing UNSOM mandate in Somalia.
